Just a quickie

Hello folks. Somehow I have a feeling I'll be hearing from Momthatsnuts about my post's title. But I digress. It's 1:00am and I just got in from playing drums. It was awesome. Me, my jam pad roomie and a bass player rocked out for about an hour. It was "hella tight" (my 14 yr old taught me that). I knew it would be an awesome experience to be able to play with another drummer, but tonight surpassed my expectations. It was a total rush. The bassist was so very easy going and we broke the ice very quickly and got into jamming.

We have plans to meet tomorrow night if we can get down to our jam pad. Today started the Hotter N Hell Hundred. Thousands of bicycle riders have converged on Wichita Falls for the nations longest sanctioned bike race. It will wind through the old part of town and I don't know if the cops will allow us to get to our place.

Kudos goes out to momthatsnuts for buying her drummer a double kick pedal... Mine is wearing out so I'll be buying one soon also. Well I'm tired and must be up and ready to hit the music store at 9:45.
Peace

Quickie, Quickie,,what is that again? See I have been married so long, I havent had a quickie or a LONGIE in ages...lol Sometimes quickies are good!!! I love the trolls jam sessions. My boys play pretty well together actually. I must say, since the double bass pedal arrived, he actually knocked something off the wall!! thats alot of drumming. He also got another bass(?) drum, you know the big one in the middle, but its like extra long?? I dont know I just let them pick it, and put up the Visa...lol I wanna see a picture of YOU in uniform. Obviously my son goes to one of only 2 ROTC high schools in the country. Thats the uniform they wear on Air Force Day every Tuesday, they have a different one for regular days, plus he joined CAP so I have to get him some BDU's. This military thing is expensive...lol

I'll tell you, the ROTC will pay big dividends if he joins the military.

I'll post a picture next week of me in my uniform. I have a job that requires me to wear my cammies every day. The only time you will catch me in my "blues" is if one of my guys has to see the commander because they are in trouble.

Awesome...hey for the CAP they dont call them Cammies they call them BDU's what does that stand for????

They said if he goes into the military he could start out as an E3...I think thats good, although he wants to join the FBI so I dont know how he is going to go about it. He is just praying his brothers stay out of trouble so he can get in!! His big brother may bring ruin to the whole family but I digress....
