Yippie and all!!!

Hiya everyone,

Well it's 10:45pm and I'm wide awake. I have to be up at 5:15 for PT. They sent an email threatening that from now on anyone who misses without a good excuse will receive formal reprimands. Every once in awhile I miss because I'm too lazy to get up. That'll stop now.

Anywho...I am extremely happy to announce that I found someone to help share my jam pad with. The kid that was originally splitting the rent bailed on me after 3 months. We had a verbal agreement and I banked on him staying true to his word (I was a dummy). This guy is a fellow military guy (and a drummer). He just bought a sweet Ludwig kit (his 2nd kit) tonight from my drum instructor. I helped him carry the boxes up to OUR jam pad. Our kits will face each other across the room. This is gonna be so fun. Two drummers playing together is such a rush, plus we will be able to pick up things and learn from each other. I am really stoked. Now I don't have to take extra money from my family to support my habit (I haven't had to say that in a long time). Pics will be posted once Richard gets his kit set up.

All in all a good day and an ok week. This week is a little tough since I was off last week. On Monday, I only made a mile and a half. We had to run a quarter of a mile then alternate after each lap between push ups and sit ups. We were suppose to do 8 laps (2 miles). Like I said, I only made 6 laps. Tomorrow will be 2 miles at PT and on Thursday we have a formation run. Damn I hate running in formation. 2 yrs till retirement (cant come soon enough)......

Well that's a wrap.... Good night y'all.

Why didn't I realize you were in the military? Strange, it's like I glossed right over it or something!

Anyhow, I hope you have a super sonic blast. =)

On the dueling drums, not the run (although hope that's good too!).

Paul, I remember hearing the Alman Brothers with two drummers and my first thought was why? Then I listened and heard how great it sounds. I'm glad you found someone reliable. Too bad a handshake isn't a handshake anymore

Hi everyone,
Thanks for the kind words. Hey Granny...I love and miss you guys.

Yea Phil,I try to be open minded and not have expectations of people, but situations like this make it hard for me to be objective.

He has to wear a cute little uniform and all the teachers are ranking officers and stuff. And they have a HEADMASTER instead of a principal, he likes it so far. You have to apply to get in so its kinda a big deal.....Im gonna go read some of your PAST stuff....mines all boring...lololol
