Insomnia reigns

It's 1:15 am and I'm wide awake. I've been on leave for this past week and I've stayed up late and slept till 8:30 every day. It's going to be rough getting up at 5:15 on Monday so I can make roll call at the gym. I'm only going in for 2 days and then I'm on leave again for 2 weeks. I worked this schedule out a couple of weeks ago because I was supposed to brief my Commander about stuff on the 18th. Well that fell through and I never changed my projected leave dates.

Anyway, I went to the music store at 10:30 tonight. We are really short handed now and the store is a mess. I clocked in and opened a couple of amps we got in this week. I ran the vacuum cleaner and straightened up a bit. The electric guitar room looks better than it did when we left at 6. I will probably put in a couple of hours tomorrow doing some more cleaning. I'm glad the lazy ass quit. He was a nice guy, but he never got off his butt to do anything. The store is better off without him. So as long as the store mgr is ok with me clocking in late at night, I'll continue to do this. It's so nice getting things in order without the phone ringing off the hook and without customers cranking up amps.
