Shot at and missed...Part deux

Hello world,
I feel 100% better than I did at this time yesterday, but I still feel like poo poo. My USAF career is rocking right along, I'm writing evaluations on a couple of my subordinates this week. My crew of workers has our job sheet down to almost nothing. Just to put things into perspective, there are 7 of us including myself on the "room call" team. We take care of Heating and AC units in all of Sheppard AFB student and permanent party dorms, all of lodging and NATO pilots dorm. A total of 4,600 HVAC units. There are about 30 military in our shop. I've been allowed to select (with my boss's blessing) the guys I have now. Some are young Airmen, two are more experienced younger sergeants. We rotate crews about every 6 months. This is the best crew I've ever had on my room call team. They are awesome guys.

So anyway, I was at my part time job tonight and had a guy just about ready to pull the trigger on a 1500 dollar electric drum set. He said he'll think it over. I don't like the hard sale like I've seen some of the older salesmen use. I just don't feel comfortable trying to push someone.

So like I said in an earlier post, I get items 15% above the stores cost. So I got into our computer inventory tonight to see what a couple of cymbals will cost me. I was shocked at how cheap I will get them. I've always used e-bay or mail order catalogs because they seem to be cheaper. Well, even their mark up is 100% of what I will pay. I'm sooo stoked to be able to get these items at our discount.

Well, I think I'm going to drive across town and beat on my tubs for a bit. My jam pad roomie should have his new kit set up by now, so I think I'll snap some pictures of his kit for him.
Peace

PS. 11:00pm and I'm wide awake. 5:00am will come soon so I'm outta here. Just got home from some drum fun. My jam pad roomie finally got his kit set up (his is on the left). Cant wait to get to make some noise with him....
