And the winner is...

MPD correctly guessed this weeks celeb drummer before I even posted her picture. He threw out Roxy Petrucci after I mentioned it was going to be a "girl" drummer.

I mentioned that this weeks winner would win a $10.00 Walmart gift card. I had no idea that anyone (other than myself) would remember the 80's girl band Vixen, much less Roxy Petrucci (who by the way is still rocking and looking as hot as ever).

So again, all I said was this weeks drummer was gonna be a girl. So MPD asks if he can guess early...I say sure...he says Roxy Petrucci...my jaw hits the ground. So I bow down to MPD's rock knowledge, as well as his use of the "jedi force" to pull shit out of thin air.

So I have MPD's prize, and it will go out on Monday. Congrats MPD, and I aint saying nuthin bout next weeks drummer... Tune in Sat to play.

On a related note... I emailed last weeks celeb drummer Eric Singer to wish him a happy thanksgiving, let him know I added a link to his website and that he was featured in my weekly game on my Blog. I provided him my web addy and asked for his approval for linking to him.

A couple days later I got a reply from him and he was very cordial in his response and thanked me for supporting him. Man, I've been stoked since I got his email. I was bummed that I missed a drum clinic he did here a couple of years ago at a competitors music store in town.

This was right after the KISS reunion tour when Peter Criss rejoined the group. Of course now Eric is back in the cat make up as well as drumming for Alice Cooper, so I wasnt surpised when he emailed me that he wasnt able to do clinics at this point in time any more.

Anywho, it's 2:00 am...I'm outta here...
