I haven't been here in awhile. Looks like some of the regulars haven't updated their blogs either. What's up with that???? Not much been happening around here. The USAF is plodding along. We are gearing up for a huge inspection called an Operational Readiness Inspection (ORI).
It will last a week. A large team of inspectors will roll in and inspect every nook and cranny of how we do business. The base will receive a "grade" and heads will roll if the base doesn't do well. My job will be looked at heavily since I'm the focal point for deploying troops. The ORI is the first week of October. We are beginning to prepare now.
Some good things I'm going to do before that.... The middle of July I'll be attending the NAMM convention in Austin. I am so stoked about going. Then towards the end of July we are going back to the MS coast for a summer visit.
