Well, it's 11:25 Saturday morning and copious amounts of coffee has been consumed, I've showered and am trying to get the rest of the crew going. My oldest son is preparing for day 2 of his new job at the mall theater and once he is dropped off, the rest of us will be heading to Dallas on a two hour trip to Guitar Center.
I'm going to get me a new acoustic/electric guitar and try to get back into playing music (thanks Mom for prodding me to start playing again). Phil, if you're reading this, I really enjoyed listening to the clip of you and your son jamming.
So the guitar I'm going after is an Epiphone Masterbuilt AJ 500. It's a nice guitar made of all solid woods. It's not a low end guitar but it also isn't a top of the line. I'll post a pic or two of it tonight once I get it home and broken in...

I just did a search on your new Epiphone, what a beauty! You can't beat them for quality. I own a Gurian Jumbo model and the sound and bass on it is very impressive. I can't wait to see pix of it, and thanks for the compliment on the jam with my son.
