New guitar

My blogger friend phil has pics up of his new 12 string Epiphone guitar. So after seeing his eye candy, I decided to post some pics of my new Epiphone acoustic/electric. It sports a solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides. It's one of the upper end Epi acoustics called the "Masterbuilt" series. It's made in China, but the attention to detail is outstanding. In my opinion, this guitar sounds every bit as good as a Taylor 310 for only half of the price. I spent about 5hrs playing it yesterday and my finger tips are SORE today...I love this thing.

I'VE GOT BLISTERS ON MY FINGERS!!!

As the Beatles put it...nice instrument Paul, it's gorgeous. I bet it sounds great too. I know you were working on Melisa the other night, I bet it sounds fantastic on there. Personally I'm less concerned with where something is made and more concerned with how it sounds. I've visited the Martin Guitar factory in PA and it's an assembly line yet you pay through the nose for the name. Solid spruce top and mahogany sides, you can't go wrong. How does it sound plugged in? I have yet to get an electric acoustic, I still use a pickup that fits into the soundhole.

Hmmm, maybe I need another guitar???

How's tricks Paul? Still playing the guitar? I've got email address on profile if you feel like talking.
Saw the Get Smart movie tonight, very funny. Not the same as the show but still real funny. Mel Brooks and Buck Henry consulted on the film so it had to be OK
