Clean this mess up else we'll all end up in jail--Donald Fagen

This song is dedicated to G.W., our congress and all the liberals in the world. I am pissed off that our government is propping up our economy with this bailout. Let me say upfront that I don't know the details of the bill/law, but I don't want to know them. I don't agree with ANY ANY ANY government intervention in this fashion. I believe we should shoulder the good AND the bad. HEY YOU! Mr and Ms. Dem liberal, it's called capitalism, not socialism.

Now before anyone flames me with the "possibilities" of gloom and doom if "something" wasn't done...just hold your horses:

First of all, you cant speculate the outcome of a situation like the one we're experiencing. Secondly, see my comment about taking the bad with the good. It would do us just fine to get knocked down a peg or two and live like we did 30 or 40 years ago.

Now society will be looking for Uncle Sam's tit to suck on ANY time something happens and every minority group will be bitching because their group isn't getting the attention that the last group got and I'll have to feel guilty about being a white male who got the opportunity to go to college and become successful and I dont know the plight of the minority race and Blah blah blah. Damn it, I'm pissed. Way to go G.W. you just got cut from my Christmas card list.

Paul, great vent! Keep up the good work. We as a Nation have become too accustom to the bailout on all forms and fashions! VN8

Hey Paul ... finally made it here! Well said on this post! This government bailout is a good example of a knee-jerk (read: liberal) reaction to an issue. The long-term effects of the intervention are going to be much worse than the initial problem, and nobody bothered to think that far ahead.
