Bring it on

The weekend that is... This week has not been a stellar one. Not to complain, because I know every day above ground is a good one. I just haven't been on top of my game all week. I've been late for work a couple of times and even missed PT on Wed. PT is a mandatory formation and roll is taken. I cant miss tomorrow. We have a three mile run at 6:00 am.

Not much is planned for the weekend. I will get some practice time in on the drums. I also would like to get some more reading done on the book I'm reading. It's called The Ancient secrete of the Flower of Life. It's a very weird and fascinating book dealing with our beginnings as a population. You have to be very open minded to get into it.

Anyway, I'm just ready to wind up this week. I went on a very relaxing walk with my wife and my two younger kids tonight, and it was great. My oldest son is at the mall with friends. He is 14 and dating a 15 yr old girl. I'm not too happy with that, but I try not to let him know this. He is a very good kid (despite his upbringing when I was drinking), and I know he makes good choices.

Well, it's dark out, so that must mean it's time for me to try to get to bed. 5:15 comes early and that damn PT run will be the beginning of the end of my so-so week.

Hey Brother,

It could be worse. They could make you wear a "snazy" PT outfit so you will conform to their ways. And, worse than that...it might be tight on you. Just remember to keep on keeping on.
